The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly raided the Abuja offices of former vice president, Namadi Sambo, over the weekend.

According to Daily Trust, EFCC operatives were said to have ransacked Sambo’s offices in the central business district on Saturday night.

Report said they raided the offices in search of documents linking the office of the former Vice President to the arms deal.

It was alleged that some of the funds disbursed for political campaigns by the embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki were routed through the ex-VP’s office.
